Combining 2 ISO files into 1 – CUCM pre-8.x Installation

A quick one and hopefully you don’t get to see this moving forward.

Long time ago Cisco used to provide images on CCO that were divided in 2 parts, for upgrades and patches, I started working with those images since everybody started migrating from older versions to 9.x which is when I officially working as a consultant.

How to join or combine these 2 ISO image?

Windows:

coby /b UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso_part1of2+UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso_part2of2 UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso

Linux:

cat UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso_part1of2 UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso_part2of2 > UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.3.1000-16.sgn.iso
